The basic concept of the Whatcom Museum is a museum turned inside out-to make the building as active on the outside as it will from some on the inside. With a height of approximately 36 feet and the translucent walls of this Whatcom museum can be a light catcher. Activities in this museum can be enjoyed from the outside Whatcom museum as well as the light catcher will be very exotic scenery.

Green roof system with a lobby and rainwater permanent, paving the translucent, skin curtain wall of glass into a perfect light catcher, and natural ventilation combine with colorful flowers on the balcony.
